About Skin Cancer
2 in 3 Australians will be diagnosed with a form of skin cancer by the age of 70 and more than 1200 Australians die from melanoma every year. As with all form of cancers, early detection and treatment provide the best chance of a cure and survival.
It is recommended that everyone who grew up in Australia should have a regular skin check. If you have never had a skin check, it is never too late to start having regular skin checks.
