Dr Andrew Taylor graduated from UWA’s Medical School in 1982. Having done 2 years post-graduation at Fremantle Hospital, he went on to do volunteer medical work in northern Kenya with his wife, on his way to the UK to gain further training in Anaesthesia, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, before returning to Perth, to work at Princess Margaret Hospital.
Then with a young family, he worked in Manjimup and Busselton where he did “everything”. Although he was already doing skin cancer checks, in 2012 he did further training through the University of Queensland, to enhance his skills. Since returning to Perth from the south west in 2014, he has continued to be doing Skin Cancer checks and excisions. Dr Andrew Taylor is looking forward to working beside his son, one day a week in the Skin Cancer Practice.
